How To Reduce Belly Fat

Blueberries have always been considered a superfood known to help combat heart disease and diabetes. But after a recent study they have been shown to reduce belly fat. This test was performed on rats who were considered obese and split into two groups. One group was given a high fat diet and the other group a low fat diet. Researchers discovered that the belly fat of both groups of rats decreased after given blueberries (powder form). This finding lead researchers to believe blueberries affect the way our bodies store and break down sugar. While more research is needed on humans, these findings back up data from earlier studies on blueberries and their benefits on the male population at risk for heart disease.

Adding blueberries to your diet:
Men and women between the ages of 14 and 30 should get a least 2 cups of fruit a day based on recommendations from the USDA. Make sure blueberries make up a good portion of your daily intake.

You can eat fresh blueberries, frozen blueberries, or blueberry powder.

Adding blueberries will not only help decrease the size of your belly, but also provides vitamin C to keep your immune system strong and vitamin E to assist with anti-aging.
