These last two years have been quite the change for our family. My son was diagnosed with life threatening food allergies after suffering a couple anaphylactic reactions. These reactions caused severe life threatening symptoms including; hives, rashes, throat closing, breathing issues, sneezing and wheezing. He required an ambulance ride, hospital stay, shots of epinephrine and his asthma medicine. That was all during his first year. We are now ending year two and feeling better about his conditions (eczema, food allergies and asthma). Now that we have all three somewhat under control we are now in the maintenance and avoidance stage.
