Quick Tip: DIY Face Wash

Stop wasting your money on overpriced, harsh, commercial face washes.  You can easily make your own face wash with ingredients you already have at home.  I’m going to include my favorite recipes for face washes and tips on how to get an easy natural glow.  Here is a quick list of items you will need.

Milk
Measuring Spoons
Honey
Small Bowls
Oatmeal
Cotton balls
Salt
Wash cloth
Orange Juice
Luke warm water
Baking Soda
Olive Oil
Lemon Juice

#1 (sensitive skin)
§  ¼ oatmeal
§  1 tsp baking soda
§  1 tbsp warm water
Mix all ingredients together, apply gently to face, use warm wet washcloth to rinse.

#2 (Dry Skin)
§  ¼ Milk
§  1tbsp honey
§  1 tsp olive oil
Mix all ingredients, apply gently to face, after 1-2 minutes use warm wet washcloth to rinse.

#3 (for oily skin)
§  1 cup plain yogurt
§  1 tsp honey
§  1 tsp lemon juice
Mix all ingredients together, apply to face, use warm wet washcloth to rinse.

#4 (For A Quick Natural Glow)
§  Orange Juice

Apply a few drops of OJ to the area of your face you want to add a little shine, and then wash it off.
#5 (exfoliate)
§  ½  tsp Salt
§  ¼ cup Milk
Mix ingredients, soak a jumbo cotton ball in mixture, apply to face in circular motion, rinse after 2 mins.

For a flawless face keep these tips in mind:
Don’t touch your face: This can cause unwanted dirt, oil, and bacteria to gather on your face
Don’t pick at your acne:  This will just cause scaring
Wash your face at least twice a day
Use a moisturizer at least twice a day
Drink at least 8 cups of water a day
Exercise at least 30 minutes a day
Eat those fruits and vegetables… they really do help!

Do you have a homemade face wash recipe you’ve either created or tried?  If so feel free to add it in the comments along with your website or blog name!
